MESSAGES DE SOUTIEN
Even so we live in the antipodes, I am sure some people still like to hear news from Europe through the RFI network, no matter which langage they speak.
I support the action of the satff demanding that the cuts do not occur and the service is not downgraded.

Message de solidarité de la radio australienne : 2 RRR 88.5 FM, sise à Gladesville (dans la région de Sydney).
Estimation du nombre d’auditeurs : 3 millions de personnes.
“Dear Colleagues and Rfi Friends,
We would like to confirm our full support against any employment
suppressions amongst your valued services and the many cultures you
serve.
Although 2009 is a tough economic year globally, the choice of one
culture rather than another one remains arbitrary and therefore
become too political.
All cultures are equal and deserve the same respect.
Every week, we bring a modest contribution to the French culture in
Sydney, along with two other French programs. Amongst these three
radio programs, two are broadcasted on a volunteer base and cater for
a population of more than 3 million people.
We wouldn’t be able to broadcast quality information and culture to
our community without the support of Rfi programs.
Please, keep the German, Polish, Russian and Turkish services going.
Kind regards,
Chris & Maïté Barbé »
